Lo esencial

At the mid and upper elevations new soft slabs up to one foot in depth were formed by northwest winds early this morning. These slabs and older pockets of soft surface slab up to 18 inches in depth could be human triggered today on steep wind loaded aspects. Deep slab instabilities persist and the potential exists for people to trigger old deep slabs which could step to the ground. Humans who trigger these slabs could suffer severe trauma and or deep burial. Loose snow sluffs are possible today on steeper terrain and sunlit aspects. At the lower elevations isolated pockets of new soft slab up to one foot in depth could be triggered on steeper wind loaded avalanche terrain.
