Lo esencial

At the upper elevations west winds have formed pockets of new soft slab up to two feet in depth. Pockets of older denser slabs up to two feet in depth also exist at the mid and upper elevations. These pockets and loose snow sluffs could be triggered by skiers and riders on steep wind loaded aspects and in cliff areas. Increasing winds in the afternoon could drift snow into avalanche starting zones and increase the hazard. Slab avalanches are unlikely at the lower elevations.
