Forecast Snow Stability: Areas of fresh windslab will continue to build on South through West to North-West aspects above 800 meters in the East of the region. (Fannaich\'s and Fisherfield mountains). These deposits are expected to be localised and easily avoidable. Areas affected will be gully tops and corrie rims. Mountains in the West around Glen Torridon will remain unaffected and the snowpack here will remain well bonded, icy and stable. The avalanche hazard will be Low.
Forecast Weather Influences: Gale force Easterly winds easing and backing to the North-East. Light, intermittent showers expected. The freezing level is forecast to lower to around 400 meters. Observed Weather Influences: Gale force East-South-East winds. Light showers falling as snow above around 500 meters. The freezing level is 600 meters. ObservedSnowStability: Small accumulations of fresh windslab are present on South-West to North-West aspects above 800 meters in the East of the region (Fannaich\'s and Fisherfield mountains).
