Avalanche Activity

In some regions snow depths vary greatly, depending on the infuence of the wind. The new snow and wind slabs of the last few days represent the main danger.

Medium-sized avalanches are possible in particular adjacent to ridgelines and in gullies and bowls. Over a wide area sometimes deep wind slabs formed. The wind slabs of the last few days can be released.

Snowpack Structure

The wind slabs are to be evaluated with care and prudence in particular in steep terrain.
