Stability: poor · Frequency: few
Moist and wet avalanches are the main danger.
Especially gullies and bowls and base of rock walls: Mostly small moist and wet avalanches are possible in isolated cases.
The snowpack will be generally well bonded. At low and intermediate altitudes hardly any snow is lying. The snowpack will be subject to considerable local variations at high altitude. The older wind slabs are to be found in particular in gullies and bowls, and behind abrupt changes in the terrain. The weather conditions as the day progresses will give rise to increasing moistening of the old snowpack over a wide area.
