The new snow can be released easily or naturally in all aspects above approximately 1800 m. The solar radiation will give rise as the day progresses to rapid softening of the snowpack over a wide area especially at intermediate altitudes.

Avalanche Activity

The snowpack will be prone to triggering in particular on wind-loaded slopes.

Snowpack Structure

A clear night will be followed in the early morning by sometimes favourable conditions generally, but the danger of wet and gliding avalanches will increase later.
