The clearly visible wind slabs of last week can be released easily. or in isolated cases naturally, in particular on northwest to northeast to southeast facing aspects above approximately 2300 m. In some places avalanches can also penetrate deep layers. Caution is to be exercised in particular adjacent to ridgelines above the tree line, as well as at transitions from a shallow to a deep snowpack, when entering gullies and bowls for example. In particular in steep rocky terrain individual small and, in isolated cases, medium-sized moist and wet avalanches are possible below approximately 2200 m. Caution and restraint are advisable.

Below approximately 2200 m as well as very steep sunny slopes: As a consequence of rising temperatures and rain up to high altitudes the snowpack settled during the last few days. Towards its surface, the snowpack is fairly homogeneous and its surface has a crust. In particular above approximately 2300 m as well as adjacent to ridgelines and in gullies and bowls: The sometimes storm force wind has transported the fresh and old snow significantly. Above the tree line sometimes avalanche prone wind slabs formed. Individual weak layers exist in the snowpack especially on steep west, north and east facing slopes.

As a consequence of new snow and strong wind the prevalence of the avalanche prone locations will increase in the evening.
