Forecast Snow Stability: The remaining patchy snow will be well bonded and stable with firm surface layers during the morning, softening slightly at lower elevations later on. New accumulations of snow will be encountered in wind sheltered locations on North-West through North to East aspects above 900 metres. These fresh deposits will be shallow and mostly avoidable. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: Light precipitation overnight, falling as snow above 900 metres, will be followed by a dry day. Moderate South-South-Westerly winds. Freezing level fluctuating from 1000 metres overnight, lowering to 750 metres by sunrise, then rising once again to 1100 metres during the afternoon. Observed Weather Influences: Frequent light showers this morning, settling as snow above 800 metres, easing and brightening at times during the afternoon. Strong South-Westerly winds. Freezing level 800 metres during the morning, rising to 1000 metres around midday. ObservedSnowStability: A trace of new snow above 800 metres with isolated, shallow accumulations forming in wind sheltered locations on mainly North to East aspects above 900 metres. The patchy old snow, which is mostly to be found above 900 metres, is well bonded and stable. The avalanche hazard is Low.
