Significant warming. As the moisture increases there will be an increase in the danger of moist and wet avalanches.

Avalanche Activity

Significant warming. As the moisture increases there will be an increase in the danger of moist and wet avalanches.

As a consequence of warming individual small moist and wet avalanches are possible. Mostly small gliding avalanches are possible on very steep grassy slopes.

Snowpack Structure

As a consequence of falling temperatures the snowpack consolidated during the last three days. In areas where the snow cover is rather shallow and on very steep sunny slopes thus far only a little snow is lying.

Tendency

As a consequence of high temperatures and low stratus the snowpack can not consolidate. The weather conditions will foster a rise in the avalanche danger in particular on very steep sunny slopes.
