Lo esencial

At the upper elevations northwest winds have formed soft slabs up to two feet deep. Pockets of slab up to one foot in depth exist at the mid elevations. These slabs and loose snow sluffs could be human triggered today in very steep wind loaded avalanche starting zones, couloirs, cliff areas and below and along corniced ridgelines. Natural loose snow sluffing is likely on sunlit aspects as temperatures warm. Some south facing lower elevation slopes are bare. Wet slides are possible on very steep snow covered lower elevation road cuts and steep banks.
