Forecast Snow Stability: Shallow accumulations of fresh unstable windslab will form in steep wind sheltered locations on mainly South-West to North-West aspects above 850 metres. These localised deposits will be shallow and generally not significant. Areas most affected will be coire rims, gully tops and steep banks and hollows. Elsewhere the snowpack will continue to consolidate and will be firm and generally stable. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: Mainly dry overnight with the freezing level briefly rising to around the highest summits. Light showers through the morning falling as snow above around 600 metres. Fresh to strong Easterly winds around dawn will increase through the day. Observed Weather Influences: A generally dry and cloudy day with light showers falling as snow above 500 metres. Feeling very cold in moderate to fresh South-Easterly winds. ObservedSnowStability: Localised and shallow areas of soft windslab have formed in wind sheltered locations on mainly West to North aspects above 850 metres. Amounts are generally not significant though some deeper drifts exist. Fresh cornices have also formed in steeper locations on these aspects. An existing layer of more wide spread, firm and reasonably bonded windslab remains on West to North aspects above 850 metres which is generally stable. The avalanche hazard is Low.
