In some localities increase in danger of wet and gliding avalanches as a consequence of warming during the day.

Snowpack Structure

In areas where the snow cover is rather shallow and on very steep sunny slopes thus far only a little snow is lying. Towards its surface, the snowpack is hard and its surface has a crust. The surface of the snowpack will soften during the day. Below approximately 1400 m only a little snow is lying.

Avalanche Activity

In some localities increase in danger of wet and gliding avalanches as a consequence of warming during the day.

Individual small moist and wet avalanches are possible.
