The general avalanche hazard is MODERATE. Pockets of soft slab up to two feet in depth exist on a variety of aspects in upper elevation avalanche starting zones. These slabs sit on hard crusts on most aspects and on faceted snow on steep northerly aspects and could be human triggered on steep wind loaded slopes.
