Avalanche Summary

You can trigger avalanches in freshly wind-drifted snow in steep upper-elevation terrain. Any avalanche breaking in the new storm snow could trigger a deeper avalanche. There could be multiple sets of tracks on a slope before you find a thin spot on the slope and trigger a deadly avalanche.

Be careful in steep, low-elevation sunny terrain as the new snow heats up on Thursday. Small wet avalanches can be consequential in extreme terrain.
