Generally safe avalanche conditions exist. The few places you may want to avoid are where you find cohesive slabs that support your weight without falling through the snowpack to the ground. These slabs are resting on weak snow near the ground on north, northeast, and east-facing slopes near and above treeline, and are the few places you can still trigger an avalanche.

A storm will bring around 4 to 6 inches of new snow with strong winds on Wednesday afternoon through Thursday morning. This storm will build thin slabs of wind-drifted snow on steep east-facing slopes at all elevations. You can expect the danger to increase by Thursday.
