The general avalanche hazard is MODERATE above the 9,000 foot elevation where pockets of slab up to one foot in depth persist in steep wind loaded starting zones. If triggered these slabs have the potential to step down into deeper layers of weak faceted snow triggering dangerous hard slabs. The general avalanche hazard below 9,000 feet is LOW. Avalanches are unlikey below 9,000 feet except in isolated pockets.
