Last nights storm has added additional loads to an already unstable snowpack. Natural activity is likely and backcountry travelers will have the ability to easily trigger slabs to three foot depths in avalanche terrain. Additional snowfall today will increase the size and sensitivity of these slabs. Once triggered these slabs are likely to entrain the weak faceted snow to the base of the snowpack. TRAVEL IN AVALANCHE TERRAIN IS NOT RECOMMENDED TODAY.
