Lo esencial
DANGEROUS soft slabs up to four feet in depth have formed at the mid and upper elevations from new snow and Westerly winds deposited over the last three days. These slabs lie upon buried crusts and lighter density snow and will be easily human triggered today. Continued snow is likely to result in Natural avalanche activity as well today. At the lower elevations pockets of new soft slab to 18 inches have formed and could be triggered in steep wind loaded starting zones. TRAVEL IN AVALANCHE TERRAIN IS NOT RECOMMENDED TODAY. Yesterday on Teton Pass lower Twin Slides slid, reaching the road and Glory slid as a result of control efforts by WYDOT.
