Lo esencial

Dense slabs from recent snow and wind lie in avalanche terrain at mid and upper elevations. These slabs will be easily triggered today by backcountry users, not necessarily by the first person on the slope, and will become more sensitive as warming occurrs today. At the upper elevations these slabs may be triggered on wind loaded avalanche paths to four feet in depth. At mid elevations pockets of these slabs to three feet in depth could be released on steep wind loaded slopes particularly near cliff and rocky areas. At low elevations avalanches are unlikely today. Many skier triggered and natural avalanches have occurred in area over the last two days.
