Lo esencial

At the upper elevations strong southwest winds and new snow have formed dense slabs up to several feet in depth. These large slabs could be triggered today on steep wind loaded aspects. At the mid elevations pockets of slab one to two feet in depth could be triggered on steep wind loaded aspects. These mid and upper elevation slabs have some potential to step down to deeper layers. At the lower elevations surface crust have added strenght to a shallow snowpack which has been weakened by rain and persistant warm temperatures. Wet slides are possible if significant warming occurs and crusts soften.
