Avalanche Activity

Weakly bonded old snow and wet snow require caution.

As a consequence of warming during the day and solar radiation small to medium-sized moist and wet avalanches are possible above approximately 1700 m. In particular on shady slopes the avalanches can penetrate even deep layers. Weakly bonded old snow and wet snow require caution.

Snowpack Structure

In some localities 0 to 2 cm of snow has fallen above approximately 2000 m. The snowpack will be generally moist.
