Lo esencial

Avalanches large enough to bury or injure a rider will remain unlikely.  On steep South slopes, Wet Loose avalanches are worth considering, as even a small avalanche can knock a rider off their feet.  When the avalanche danger is Low it is worth carrying avalanche rescue gear, and employing good travel techniques like riding steep slopes one at a time.

There haven't been observations of Wet Loose avalanches during the last few days.  We have a long period of sustained melt-freeze and daytime temperatures have been relatively cool.  Although temperatures are forecast to increase a few degrees on Wednesday, sizable Wet Loose avalanches will remain unlikely.  I'm including the problem in the forecast because it is worth considering if you choose to ride steep South slopes.  Even small Wet Loose avalanches can knock a rider off their feet, which can be a problem on large steep slopes or when terrain traps are present.

Considering which direction a slope faces (aspect) has been key for finding the best soft riding.  It is similarly useful for avoiding slopes that might be getting too soft.
