Snow and Weather

Current Conditions

High pressure has a firm hold on the weather with a distinct temperature inversion overnight. Higher locations are around 20˚F while lower locations are around 10˚F or even into the single digits. The north wind has been light. The snow surface is quite loose in many locations with fine grained "recrystalized" snow. This actually provides ok riding conditions where there aren't old tracks, sun crusts or wind crusts.

Mountain Weather

Mild weather will continue through the weekend. It'll be mostly sunny with high temperatures around 30 today and slightly warmer Saturday and Sunday. There is a small storm shaping up for about Tuesday or Wednesday of next week that might bring enough snow to call it a "refresher".
