The conditions in the morning, after a clear night, are spring-like. As a consequence of warming and solar radiation, the avalanche activity will gradually increase. Additionally in very isolated cases avalanches can also penetrate deep layers. The more recent wind slabs are to be found especially adjacent to ridgelines and in gullies and bowls and generally in the high Alpine regions. They can be released even by a single winter sport participant in particular on extremely steep east, north and northwest facing slopes above approximately 2500 m. Backcountry tours should be started and concluded early.

The surface of the snowpack has frozen to form a strong crust and will soften during the day. In some cases the wind slabs have bonded still only poorly. Towards its base, the snowpack is faceted and weak.

Evening and night: In some localities light snowfall to 2000 m. The avalanche danger will already be elevated in the early morning.
