Forecast Weather Influences: Strong to Gale force South-Westerly winds. Light rain showers falling as snow only on the highest summits in the morning. The freezing level will be around 900 meters overnight rising to well above summit level during the day. Observed Weather Influences: Strong to Gale force Westerly winds. A dry morning followed by showers in the afternoon falling as snow only on the highest summits. The freezing level was around 900 meters.
