Forecast Snow Stability: The remaining snowpack will continue to consolidate in the drier conditions. Snowpack stability will be good in all locations. The snow cover will continue to gradually diminish with greatest accumulations remaining in North to East facing Corries and Gullies above 850 metres. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: Rain during the early part of the night will clear to give a dry day. The freezing level will be just above the highest summits. Winds will be strong West-South-Westerly. Observed Weather Influences: Rain at all levels became heavier in the afternoon. The freezing level was well above the summits. Winds were gale force West-South-Westerly. ObservedSnowStability: Thaw conditions throughout the day. Localised wet snow instabilities that are present on steep North-East to South-East aspects above 900 metres are gradually easing and consolidating. Elsewhere the older snowpack is wet, thawing and generally stable. The avalanche hazard is Moderate.
