Lo esencial

The snowpack will be in most cases well bonded.

Problemas de aludes

  • Persistent weak layers

    • Todas las altitudes

Tendency

The avalanche danger will persist.

Avalanche Activity

The snowpack will be in most cases well bonded.

Currently there are favourable conditions generally. Avalanches can be released in deeper layers, in particular by large additional loads. This applies in particular above approximately 2500 m, in particular on steep northeast, north and west facing slopes. In steep terrain there is a danger of falling on the hard snow surface. On sunny slopes as well as at low and intermediate altitudes from a snow sport perspective, insufficient snow is lying.

Snowpack Structure

Over a wide area only a little snow is lying. The snowpack is largely stable. The surface of the snowpack has frozen to form a strong crust and will soften during the day. Faceted weak layers exist in the snowpack in particular on steep shady slopes. This applies especially above approximately 2500 m.
