Avalanche Summary

Dangerous avalanche conditions exist on many slopes. The most dangerous slopes face northwest through north to southeast near and above treeline. Here, you can trigger avalanches from a distance and they can grow large enough to bury you, so be aware of steep slopes above you and other parties nearby. You can find safer travel options on wind-sheltered slopes at lower elevations or on lower elevation south-facing slopes where new snow fell on mostly bare ground.
