Lo esencial

At the upper elevations strong south southwest winds formed new slabs overnight on leeward aspects. These new slabs lie upon existing slabs which are up to four feet deep. At the upper elevations these slabs could release naturally and are likely to be easily triggered by humans on steeper terrain, in cliff areas and beneath corniced areas. At the mid and lower elevations soft slabs up to three feet in depth persist and could be human triggered on steeper wind loaded slopes, steep banks and gullies. Be aware of terrain traps.
