The snowpack is mostly stable. Backcountry travelers venturing into very steep, avalanche prone terrain might be able to trigger isolated pockets of surface slab up to 12 inches deep. These small slides could pose a threat to skiers and riders in areas with exposure above cliff bands or terrain traps.

( Discussion is generated from the previous day's afternoon forecast. )Mostly clear skies are expected overnight and into tomorrow allowing inverted temperatures to develop. Overnight lows in the mountains will dip below zero before rising into the mid-teens during the day.
