Lo esencial

The general avalanche hazard is MODERATE above 9,000 feet and LOW below 9,000 feet. At the upper elevations backcountry travelers could trigger newly developed pockets of very soft slab up to a foot deep on very steep, wind loaded slopes near ridgelines. Ridgetop winds were fairly light overnight, and loose snow sluffs involving only the new snow will be the more likely scenario. With the exception of very shallow loose snow sluffs, the snowpack is mostly at the mid and lower elevations and avalanches are unlikely.
