Lo esencial

Temperatures dropped into the upper 20's to low 30's overnight. These values are generally five degrees warmer than they were yesterday morning and are expected to be up to ten degrees warmer than yesterday in the afternoon. Hard crusts that formed overnight are expected to soften early. The avalanche hazard will be LOW in the early morning hours, increase to MODERATE before midday and to CONSIDERABLE in the afternoon. Wet slides are possible on steep slopes after snow surfaces have softened. These slides could be triggered by humans, cornice drops or loose snow falling from cliff areas.
