Avalanche Summary

Safe avalanche conditions exist due to the lack of consistent snow cover. Isolated drifted features or small loose avalanches failing on old slick surfaces are the most likely places to find unstable snow. Look downslope to assess the consequences of being knocked off your feet in a small avalanche if you plan to travel in very steep or extreme terrain.

Researchers Ian McCammon and Sara Boilen are developing new tools for managing human factors for backcountry skiers and boarders. This survey asks about personal experiences with human factors and will take 7 - 8 minutes to fill out. Link is HERE. Thank you for your help!
