Avalanche Summary

Strong winds and heavy snow will create dangerous avalanche conditions on steep wind-drifted slopes at the upper elevations. If you are traveling in the Mount Zirkel Wilderness, use caution and avoid steep slopes receiving drifted snow. These more dangerous slopes will be located directly below ridgetop.
