Avalanche Summary

You can trigger avalanches in steep spots where you find more than about 10 inches of new or recently wind-drifted snow. Look for cracking, collapsing, and recent avalanche activity to indicate potential danger. Avoid steep slopes if you encounter any of these conditions. Avalanches will be bigger and more dangerous on northeast, east, and southeast-facing slopes where winds have drifted recent snow over weak layers deeper in the snowpack. You can find safer riding at lower elevations and in wind-sheltered spots.

Weather Summary

Raised the danger to CON on Monday because of winds and plenty of snow to move. This could be getting limited by the warm temps it's a bit difficult to tell. So, think about ATL on Monday.
