( Discussion is generated from the previous day's afternoon forecast. )Periods of light to moderate snowfall are expected tonight through Friday. Sustained westerly winds with averages of twenty five to thirty miles per hour are expected during this time while mountain temperatures reach into the mid twenties.The general avalanche hazard is expected to be Moderate in the Teton and Southwest Trails areas and Low and in the Togwotee Pass area. In the Tetons and Southwest trails areas, surface slabs to depths of eighteen inches could be human triggered in steep avalanche terrain. In the Togwotee area, where less snow has fallen, avalanche activity is limited to isolated pockets in very steep wind loaded terrain.
