Lo esencial

The General Avalanche Hazard is HIGH. Snow that has fallen over the last several days has been formed by strong winds into surface slabs up to three feet in depth in wind loaded terrain. These slabs lie on weak snow and could be easily human triggered or release naturally. The size and sensitivity of these slabs will increase today as snowfall and wind continue. An Avalanche Warning has been issued for the mountains of Western Wyoming including the Salt and Wyoming Ranges and backcountry travellers should avoid steep slopes and avalanche run out zones.
