Lo esencial

The avalanche danger on the Manti Skyline remains generally LOW.

The small amount of new snow anticipated today won't change the avalanche conditions much.

We have gotten used to LOW danger avalanche conditions but be aware that we may see things get dangerous again this season and we'll need to adjust our behavior.

Snow and Weather

Current Conditions

The Skyline picked up a trace of snow this morning. Temperatures are around 20˚F and west wind has increased into the moderate speed range.

Mountain Weather

A "closed low pressure system" is sliding through to our south and a secondary wave should give us a small amount of snow today. Most of the precipitation will be this afternoon into tonight. Wind will be from the west and northwest in the light to moderate speed ranges. Temperatures won't warm a whole lot today. Things start to clear out again on Thursday with a gradual warming trend and we're back to mild sunny weather Friday and Saturday. The next chance for a storm looks like Monday night into Tuesday. This one doesn't look all that large either but it may be good for a few more inches.
