TO for 27/2 Very patchy snow cover, snow patches very firm and stable, largest patches N,NE,E,SE above 850m. Low hazard.

Forecast Snow Stability: Little change is expected, snow cover will remain very limited. Snow patches will remain very firm and icy with largest areas on steep North through East to South-East aspects above 850 metres, mainly around coire rims and in gullies. Mostly bare ground elsewhere. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Snowpack Structure

Forecast Weather Influences: It will be a clear, dry, sunny day with light mainly Easterly winds. After an overnight frost the daytime freezing level will be around 700 metres. Observed Weather Influences: A dry sunny clear day with light and variable winds. The freezing level rose to around 900 metres. ObservedSnowStability: The very limited patchy snow cover remains very firm, well bonded and stable. Greatest areas remain on steep North through East to South-East aspects above 850 metres. Elsewhere is mostly bare ground. The avalanche hazard is Low.
