Active wind drifting was observed on Tuesday, and winds should continue to transport snow into Wednesday morning. You are most likely to run into fresh, reactive drifts near ridgelines in upper elevation terrain. You could also find slabs mid-slope on open, crossloaded features. For the most part these avalanches will be shallow and isolated, but you could trigger a large avalanche in some heavily loaded areas. Look for textured snow surfaces, shooting cracks, and hollow sounding firm snow to clue you into wind slab hazards. As always, use terrain to your advantage and seek out less consequential slopes if you find signs of these.
Example thin wind slab.
