Lo esencial
Five to seven inches of new snow has fallen during the past several days at the mid and upper elevations. Northwesterly winds have formed pockets of new soft slab up to one foot in depth in some upper elevation starting zones. These slabs could be human triggered on steep upper elevation easterly and northerly wind loaded aspects where these slabs lie upon slick old snow surfaces. Aside from isolated pockets of shallow slab on shaded mid elevation wind loaded starting zones snow depths are too shallow at the mid and lower elevations for avalanche activity.
