Avalanche Summary

Avoid rounded pillows of snow that may crack when you weight them. You may find these on almost any aspect above treeline as the winds have trended around the compass multiple times this week. Steep slopes beneath cornices and gullies will be the most dangerous. You can find safer travel on slopes without a cohesive slab. 

Avoid steep southerly slopes when the sun comes out. Sheltered gullies, with rocky walls to heat up, will be the first slopes to pop out Loose Dry avalanches. You can avoid this problem at higher elevations and on shady slopes.
