Avalanche Summary

Snow and wind on Tuesday will add weight to an already tender snowpack. We had several reports of avalanches near Grand Lake, on the west side of Rocky Mountain National Park, and in the Never Summer Range. As the wind stacks up slabs on a weak snowpack, avalanches will break wider, and you can trigger these avalanches from flat areas below steep slopes.
