Lo esencial

At the mid and upper elevations surface slabs up to two feet in depth formed by south to west winds exist. DANGEROUS deep slab instabilities persist. These surface slabs could be triggered by a single skier or snowboarder and have the potential to step down especially on northerly aspects and in cliffy areas with localized weak zones. The greatest hazard is to extreme skiers, boarders and snowmobilers who venture into very steep extreme terrain. At the lower elevations isolated pockets of slab could be human triggered in the starting zones of very steep avalanche paths.
