Lo esencial

Abundant sunshine and very warm temperatures will combine to significantly increase the avalanche hazard during the day. Temperatures at 10,000 feet at 5 AM this morning are about 10 degrees warmer than they were yesterday. The hazard at all elevations will be LOW in the early morning hours and will increase to CONSIDERABLE at the mid & upper elevations and MODERATE at the lower elevations. Wet point slides are likely and wet slab releases are possible on very steep slopes. Cornices could collapse. Wet slide activity is most likely to occur on the highest peaks of the Teton Range and in the canyons that access those peaks.
