Avalanche Summary

An Avalanche Warning is in effect for the northwest San Juan Mountains including areas around Telluride, Ouray, Silverton, and Lizard Head Pass. Very dangerous avalanche conditions exist and last through Thursday. Human-triggered avalanches large enough to bury, injure or kill you are very likely. Travel in avalanche terrain is not recommended during this time period.
