The snowpack in the alpine is starting to increase and some alpine areas have enough snow for avalanches to occur. Wind loaded slopes, and steep narrow gullies are the highest concern.
Avalanche Summary
Occasional reports of natural avalanches up to size 1.5 in steep alpine terrain have been observed, especially during strong wind events.
