Snowpack Summary

Previous alpine winds have made for variable surface conditions. Watch for small isolated pockets of thin windslab in the alpine. The Oct 25th crust can be found as much as 30cm off the ground. This crust is most likely to be encountered between 2,000m-2,700m. The snow cover below treeline is very thin.

Avalanche Summary

Only a few small surface loose avalanches noted in very steep alpine terrain today. Remember to share the conditions found on your trip this weekend with Avalanche Canada's, Mountain Information Network
