NC for 22.1: The snowpack will be well bonded and stable at all altitudes. Greatest amounts NW, N to E aspects above 950m. Low Haz.

Forecast Snow Stability: The old snowpack will remain well bonded and stable at all altitudes. The greatest amounts will be found on North-Westerly through North to Easterly aspects above 950 metres, particularly around coire back walls, ridge flanks and plateau areas. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Snowpack Structure

Forecast Weather Influences: Dry conditions are expected throughout the forecast period. Moderate to strong winds will be West-South-Westerly in direction. The freezing level will remain above the summits. Observed Weather Influences: A sunny day with light Westerly winds. The freezing level was above the summits. ObservedSnowStability: The old snowpack is very firm well bonded and stable at all altitudes. The greatest amounts are to be found on North-Westerly through North to Easterly aspects above 950 metres. Shallow pockets of windslab remain in hollows above 1000 metres but these are insignificant and avoidable. The avalanche hazard is Low.
