Forecast Weather Influences: Frequent snow showers will affect the area for much of the period. Winds will be strong to gale force mainly West South Westerly. The freezing level will be around 400 metres. Observed Weather Influences: New snow above 400 metres and strong to gale force South-South-Westerly winds have affected the area. ObservedSnowStability: New snow and wind transport of existing deposits have formed areas of unstable windslab in sheltered gullies and on slopes with a North-West To North-East aspect mainly above 850 metres.
